Rick Adel

1944 - 2025

 With great sadness we announce the passing of Eric Guilford Adel in Calgary on the morning of Sunday, April 20, 2025 at the age of 81 years.

A private committal service will be held at the Vauxhall Cemetery columbarium prior to the funeral service.

The Funeral Service will be held at the Vauxhall and District Senior’s Centre, 318 - 5 Street North, Vauxhall on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. 

Rick is survived by his children Ed Adel of Brooks and his three children; Sara ScurisBrown of Lethbridge and her two children, as well as extended family Walter and Dorothy Hogg and children, Eric Weiss and his children.

He was predeceased by his wife Helen Adel; grandson Chad Adel; parents Edward and Mildred Adel.

Rick was a man of few words and great integrity who loved fishing, golfing and quiet nights with his wife Helen, before her passing.
