1956 - 2007

Helen Knibbs passed away at the Taber Hospital on Friday, February 16, 2007 at the age of 50 years after a rare lengthy illness.
Helen is survived by her beloved common-law husband Dave Braun of Taber; son Cory Braun (Kim Gibbs and her son Aidan Malinsky)  of Taber; daughter Tanya Malinsky of Taber; three grandchildren Bailey, Brennen and Mitchell Malinsky; her father and mother George and Susie Driedger of High Level, Alberta; seven brothers; three sisters and also by numerous nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brother Dave Driedger.
Helen was a very loving, caring and giving person who especially enjoyed the grandchildren around her.  She loved to cook, bake and paint. Her passion was for music, whether listening or singing country and gospel music. She participated in fundraising for the Taber Hospital Foundation through karaoke.  She will be sadly missed and remembered always.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Evangelical Free Church, 4418-52 Street, Taber, Alberta on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Ron Gartly officiating.  Interment will follow in the Taber Memorial Garden.
