FUNERAL SERVICE AUDIO RECORDING

Ted Parks

1953 - 2024

Edwin Ketchum Parks, passed away in Flagstaff, Arizona on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at the age of 71 years.

The Funeral Service was held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.

Ted is survived by his son Christopher Parks and his sister Louise Hytken.

Ted was born on January 24, 1953 in Toronto, but moved to the United States the day he got out of the hospital. He attended the University of Arizona both for his undergraduate degree and for his law degree. Ted spent a few years in private practice in Tucson before moving to Kingman, Arizona where he worked for a number of years in the County Attorney’s Office.

He enjoyed boating and spent many weekends on his boat with friends on the Colorado River, Lake Havasu and Lake Mead. Ted also enjoyed riding a motorcycle in the mountains around Kingman. Unfortunately, for the past twenty three years, he was dealing with a disability that rendered him legally blind and unable to participate in many activities that he enjoyed. He enjoyed playing the guitar and going out with friends.

If friends so desire, the family requests that you make memorial donations in Ted’s name, directly to your favorite charity.
