There they rented land until they purchased their own land in 1964. Tony enjoyed farming and worked hard to make it prosperous. Tony and Alda were blessed with four children, who all farm. His sons continue to operate the family farm. Tony received numerous awards for seed excellence but he was always the proudest of the crops that were grown in the field. He never worried about things and he always told his family not to worry. After retiring, Tony and Alda moved to a new home, were Tony spent much of his time landscaping their new yard. Tony and Alda traveled and spent all their time together. Tony enjoyed visiting with family and friends as well as dancing. He was always fond of children, most especially his grandchildren.
