CANDY JENSEN

1955 - 2010

Candace Cora Jensen, beloved wife of Padjett Jensen, passed away in Taber on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the age of 55 years.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Evangelical Free Church, 5431 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Harry Unger officiating.
Besides her loving husband Padjett, Candy will be dearly missed by her sons Quincy (Rhonda) Jensen of Coaldale, Josh (Stacey) Jensen of Purple Springs, Terrence (Amie) Jensen of Calgary; four grandchildren Kiara, Ayden, Hailey and Maquade. She will also be remembered by her siblings, their families and her many friends.
Candy was born in Medicine Hat on May 16, 1955 to Bob & Maxine Tilleman. She was raised on a farm near Hays along with her three sisters Linda, Sue and Pam and her two brothers Rob and Tom.
Candy married Padjett Jensen in Taber on March 24, 1973. They resided at the farm which they built together from the ground up for the last thirty seven years. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Candy loved riding horses, especially her “little Lena”. She enjoyed spending time team penning with Padjett and hunting and fishing; most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Candy loved the farm. She enjoyed raising chickens, pigs, cows and horses. She loved animals. Candy also worked as a receptionist and did entries for team penning events. She was an amazing woman, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. You could always count on her to be there for you no matter what. Candy had a short battle with cancer that she fought tooth and nail to beat. She was the strongest fighter any of us know. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Candy’s name may be made directly to the Taber & District Health Foundation, 4326 - 50 Avenue, Taber, Alberta T1G 1N9.
