1912 - 2010

Marija Premerl, beloved wife of the late Frank Premerl, passed away peacefully in Taber on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at the age of 98 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 6:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Patrick Furtado SAC, Celebrant. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Mary was born January 12, 1912 in Kukujevci, Croatia. She enjoyed more than 98 years - as a loving wife for 65 years, a devoted mother and Oma.
Mary is survived by her children Magdalena Stillinger of Taber and Ivan (Olive) Premerl of Longueuil, Quebec; grandchildren Mohammed Kajan, Ali (Fatima) Kajan, Lynda Premerl, Frank (Mimi) Premerl, Mitch (Garrett) Niessen, Kathy (Don) Crisp, Mary (Jody) Ginther; thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers Joseph (Leni) Heith of Austria, Tony (Kathy) Heith of Australia and by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank Premerl, son-in-law Peter Stillinger and numerous other relatives throughout the years.
