PAT MARTIN

1938 - 2010

Patricia Joan Martin, beloved wife of the late Edward Martin of Warner, passed away quietly after a brief battle with cancer at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, September 3, 2010 at the age of 72 years.
A Celebration of Pat’s life will be held at the Taber Youth Centre, 1 km north of 64 Avenue on 50 Street, Taber on Saturday September 11, 2010 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.
Pat is survived by her children Nora Lee (David) Wozny of Bellville, Ontario; Owen Martin of Warner; Shaunine (Darren) Barber of Owen Sound, Ontario; Ed Martin of Barnwell; Maureen (Kevin) Eliasson of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Alice McKinnon of Edmonton, Moragh Campbell-Hope of Victoria, British Columbia as well as by numerous other relatives and her beloved cat Megan.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward Martin, her parents and two brothers, Bryan Campbell-Hope and Alden Campbell-Hope.
Pat was born July 5, 1938 in Edmonton. She married Edward Martin on August 21, 1961. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Pat was an active member of the Lions Club of Warner - serving as President at the time of her passing, she was involved with TOPS, the Warner Seniors and was the oldest member of the Taber Paintball Association. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
