1928 - 2010
Bertha Lucille Hostetler (nee Eigsti), beloved wife of Marvin Hostetler of Wrentham, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loved ones at 5:45 A.M. on Saturday, July 3, 2010 at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 2 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Stirling Mennonite Church on Monday, July 5, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Stirling Mennonite Church on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. A Burial Service will be held at the Muscoda Amish Mennonite Church Cemetery, Muscoda, Wisconsin on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. (CDT).
Bertha was born February 1, 1928 to Peter & Ida Eigsti of Shelbyville, Illinois. She was baptized as a youth in the Linn Amish Mennonite Church at Roanoke, Illinois.
She married Marvin Christian Hostetler on May 2, 1948 and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She will be missed by Marvin, her loving husband of sixty two years; their ten children, seven daughter and three sons, Marlene (Larry) Baer of Russellville, Kentucky; Judi Walter of Sarasota, Florida; Duane of Coalhurst; Marie (John) Baer of Sexsmith; Myron (Margaret) Hostetler of Halsey, Oregon; Allen (Esther) Hostetler of La Monte, Missouri; Joyce (Bruce) Walter of Lethbridge; Joanne (Nevin) Zimmerman of Black Creek, British Columbia; Brenda (Arland) Eberly of Thorp, Wisconsin; Ida May (Morris) Hostetler of Russellville, Kentucky and by fifty eight grandchildren and sixty six great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one brother, two brothers-in-law, two granddaughters and one grandson.
