MARGARET O'DORNAN

1926 - 2010

Margaret Mary O’Dornan passed away peacefully in Taber on Monday, March 8, 2010 at the age of 83 years.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Gisele Gerick and nieces Brenda O’Dornan, Sharon O’Dornan and Maureen Simpson.
Margaret was born on October 25, 1926 in Ballymena, County Antrim, Northern Ireland and lived most of her life in Taber. Over the years Margaret was employed by the St. Eugene Hospital in Cranbrook, British Columbia, St. Michael’s Hospital in Lethbridge, Town of Taber and Taber School Division. She worked for twenty years in the medical records department at the Taber Hospital. Margaret was an active member of the Catholic Women’s League and the Taber Hospital Auxiliary.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5008 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 6:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Patrick Furtado SAC, Celebrant. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.

The family would like to thank Sarah “Nicky” Nicholson and the women of the Catholic Women’s League and all of her friends who gave Margaret so much support. The family would also like to thank the Community Care Nurses and the staff at the Taber Hospital for their care and kindness.
