ISABEL CONRAD

1924 - 2010

Isabel Mary Conrad, beloved wife of the late Charles Conrad, passed away in Taber on Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the age of 85 years.
Isabel is survived by her children Alice Bissonette (David Buzz) of Lethbridge and her children David, Walter, Robert & Peter; Florence Mason of Carmangay and her children Charles, Wendy & Patricia; Linda (John) Hay of Lethbridge and her children Dale & Amber; Molly Gregus (Jake Mandel) of Vauxhall and her children Christopher (Annie Valgardson), Ashley (Shawn Hillier) & Jordan; numerous great grandchildren including the most recent addition born Saturday, January 23, 2010, weighing in at 6lbs., Peytyn Gregus. Isabel is also survived by a brother-in-law Don Milburn of Snow Lake, Manitoba as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Charles; her first husband Robert Mather; three brothers Alan, Peter and Sonny Harrington; four sisters Rita Henline, Ethel Berry, Marion Webber and Sadie Issac; sister-in-law Laverne Milburn and son-in-law Cecil Mason.
Isabel was born on July 25, 1924 in Tisdale, Saskatchewan where she was raised and educated. In 1958 Isabel moved to Taber where she has resided until her passing. She enjoyed fishing, bingo, travelling and was an avid gardener. Isabel was also fond of the holidays and going for picnics. She always looked forward to her visits with the ladies from the church. Isabel always enjoyed spending time with her family who will miss her dearly.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, February 1, 2010 between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. and at the church prior to the funeral service on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 between 10:00 A.M. and 10:40 A.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Bishop Ken Holst conducting. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
