DON BIGELOW

1930 - 2009

Donald Vernon Bigelow, beloved husband and best friend of his wife Audrey Bigelow, passed away peacefully at the Taber Extendicare on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at the age of 79 years.
Don was born in Taber on March 7, 1930 to Murrell and Daisy Bigelow. He married Audrey Odland, his loving wife of 49 years on June 30, 1961.
Besides his wife Audrey, he is survived by his brother Albert and sister June Larsen both of Taber; sister-in-law Rachael Bigelow of Cranbrook, British Columbia and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Murrell and Daisy Bigelow; brother Cyril “Cy”; brother-in-law Peter Larsen; sister-in-law Marjorie; nephew Terry Kay.
Although we will miss him greatly we take comfort in knowing he is at peace from his courageous battle with his illness.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Evangelical Free Church, 5431 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Harry Unger and Pastor Ron Gartly officiating. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
