MERRILL WADDLE

1903 - 2005

Merrill Reese (Shorty) Waddle of Lethbridge, beloved husband of the late Edna Waddle (Gunter), passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 20, 2005 at the St. Michael's Health Centre, two days short of his 102nd birthday.
Shorty is survived by two sons Willie (Evelyn) Waddle of Taber and his two children Pam (Jeff) LaRocque and their family Ryan Smith and Dustin and Cody LaRocque of Calgary, Shelly (Terry) Beheil of Medicine Hat and two stepchildren Jack Tilsley and Dianne Skretting and families; son Robert (Audrey) Waddle of Lethbridge and their two daughters Sandie (Barry) Peterson, Laurie Fick (friend Colin Giolo) and her family Brian and Tabatha Fick all of Lethbridge; a granddaughter Lyndia Holt (friend Jim Martin) of Rosebud and her family Bobby (Tammie) Holt of Kelowna, B.C., Lisa and son Lee Holt and Jess (Amy) and son Dakota Holt of Calgary; granddaughter Debbie D'Aoust and her three daughters Angie Adams and her children Jordan and Bailie of Taber, Jennifer D'Aoust of Calgary and Natalie of Taber.
Merrill was predeceased by his two wives Edna and Claudia, his son Glenn and wife Joan, granddaughter Merle Waddle and grandson Timothy Waddle.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, February 24, 2005 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at the Vauxhall Mennonite Brethren Church, 320 - 9 Street North, Vauxhall on Friday, February 25, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Janice (McCloskey) Walls officiating. Interment to follow at the Vauxhall Cemetery.
