GARALD WRIGHT

1943 - 2005

Mr. Garald Evan Wright, beloved husband of Mrs. Leona Wright of Vauxhall, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at the age of 62 years.
Garald was born on March 21, 1943 in Cardston, Alberta, the son of Ted and Frances Wright.  He received his schooling in Bow Island, Cardston and Picture Butte. On August 3, 1971 he married Leona. Garald worked with the Co-op at Vauxhall, Barons and Brooks, retiring in 1997. At the time of his passing, Garald drove school bus for Cardinal Bus Lines. Over the years, both Garald and Leona were involved in minor sports and various community clubs.
Besides his loving wife Leona, he leaves his mother Frances Wright of Vauxhall, four children Diane Tilma of Vancouver, Donna (Rob) Forsyth of Vauxhall, Darryl Wright and Darren Wright (Jennifer) both of Taber; grandchildren Brenda, Dwight and Kimberlee Forsyth, Khristofre, Chara and Briley Remillard (Scott Stebner); a great granddaughter Shaylynn and extended grandchildren Paige, Thomas, Jeffery, Brook-Lyn, Austin and Kali; brothers and sisters Norm (Laurel), Valerie Louwerse, Marilyn (Gary) McLeod and Cheryl (Eugene) Dutchak. He is also survived by Leona's family: sister Jean and Don Hill and their family Beverly and Wayne Greve and Marlin and Betty Hill; his special nieces and nephews Cynthia and Shawna Wright, Kelly Louwerse, Michael, Bradley and Lindsay McLeod, Shelley (Bradley Deleeuw) and Jeremy Dutchak.
He was predeceased by his father Ted, December 19, 1986 and brother Floyd, August 5, 1944, his father and mother-in-law Clarence Smith, May 13, 1981 and Hannah, October 7, 1983 and his son-in-law Pier Tilma, August 20, 2001.
The Funeral service will be held at the Vauxhall Mennonite Brethren Church, 320-9 Street North, Vauxhall on Tuesday, October 4, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Dan Doerksen officiating. Interment to follow in the Vauxhall Cemetery.
