DOUG WILSON

Douglas "Doug" William Wilson of Lethbridge, beloved son of Jackie & Darren Wilson of Bow Island and brother to Jessi and Josh, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2006 at the age of 19 years.
Doug was born July 21, 1986 in Bow Island, Alberta to Darren and Jackie Wilson, their first born. He attended Bow Island Elementary School and Senator Gershaw and graduated in 2004. He started a career in the trades and attended his first year of carpentry at the Lethbridge Community College, and was employed in Lethbridge. Doug had a great love for hockey and baseball. He played for the Bow Island Rebels from pre-novice to midgets. From an early age, he took a keen interest in baseball, but he loved the years he played slow pitch, for this was the time he could spend with his buddies. Camping was another favorite time with his friends. Doug will always be remembered for his sense of humour and his infectious smile.
Doug will be lovingly remembered by his parents Darren and Jackie, a sister Jessi, and a brother Joshua of Bow Island; his grandparents Frank Heck of Foremost and Bill Wilson and Shirley Wilson of Bow Island; great grandmother Hilda Wilson of Lethbridge; aunts and uncles Bev (Peter) Cordingly and family, Diane (Phil) Lodermeier and family, Brad Wilson, Linda (Charlie) Hougen and family, Faye (Ray) Taylor and family, Pete (Laura) Heck, and Scott (Irene) Heck and family. He will also be remembered by his numerous close friends. Doug was predeceased by his grandmother Ila Vale Heck.
