IDA RAKOS

1923 - 1979

Ida Eva Rakos, beloved wife of Paul Rakos, passed away in Taber on Thursday, March 8, 1979 at the age of 55 years.
Besides her loving husband Paul, she is survived by her children Pat (Henry) Baumstark of Taber, Ron (Linda) Rakos of Lethbridge, Debbie Rakos of Lethbridge and four grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Ethel (Jim) Wong of Lethbridge and Rose (Dave) Kakuk of Drumheller.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Farago and her brother Malcolm Farago.
Ida was born May 6, 1923 in Plunkett, Saskatchewan. She moved to Drumheller Valley with her family at a young age. She married Paul Rakos and they moved to Taber where they have resided until the time of her passing.
Relatives and friends are invited to prayers at Reardon’s Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, March 9, 1979 at 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, March 10, 1979 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Don O’Dwyer Celebrant. Interment to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
