JULIE PARRY
1946 - 2006
Julianna Louise Parry, beloved wife of Phil Parry, passed away in Taber on Wednesday, June 21, 2006 at the age of 60 years.
Julie was born in Taber on March 12, 1946. After her mother passed away, when Julie was 16 years of age, she moved to Edmonton where she was raised by the Isbister’s. She lived and worked in Edmonton and Calgary before returning to Taber where she met John Philip Parry. They were married in July of 1977. They spent several years overseas, including Malta, Spain and Libya, where Phil worked in the waterwell industry. They later worked with Unicef in Sudan. Julie and Phil lived in Uganda, Nigeria, Peru and Chile before returning to Taber. In her spare time she enjoyed crafts, puzzles, the computer, reading and the company of people.
Besides her loving husband Phil, she is survived by her children John (Sandra) Parry of Charlottetown, PEI and Jody Cook (Ken Just) of Taber; grandchildren Jordan, Jessica and Mitchell Cook; brother David (Marlene) Kerkhoff; sisters Valerie (Jerry) Williams and Carolee (Rick) Neudorf; nieces and nephews Lana Morrison, Kyle Kerkhoff, Angie Blanchard, Dana Jensen, Aryton and Mason Neudorf.
Relatives and friends are invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, June 26, 2006 at 7:00 P.M.
A Private Funeral Service will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, Taber on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS officiating. Interment will follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
