VIC PIDBOROCHYNSKI

1955 - 2008

Victor Pidborochynski passed away with his family by his side  at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, March 17, 2008 at the age of 52 years.
Vic is survived by his fiancée Louise Bertie of Taber; his children Kerri (Marina) Pidborochynski of Taber, Stacey (Jason Whitmore) Pidborochynski of Lethbridge and Jordan Bertie of Japan; his grandson and best buddy Ryland Pidborochynski, son of Kerri and Marina. He is also survived by his siblings Yvonne (Johnny) McNamee of Las Vegas, Joe (Ruth) Pidborochynski of Taber, Wayne Pidborochynski of Inuvik, Marie-D (Randy) Stoby of Rich Valley, Stella (Tim) Gregory of Whitehorse and Sylver Peters of Edmonton as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Vic was predeceased by his parents, Stan and Ria Pidborochynski.
Victor was born on July 2, 1955 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. He spent time living in the Meath Park, Saskatchewan area, central Alberta as well as northern Canada before settling in Taber. Vic worked as a landscaper and truck driver. He owned and operated a radiator shop in Taber and Medicine Hat. More recently he spent his time working in the Oil Patch. Victor loved gardening, wood working and spending time with his family. He loved watching NASCAR, wrestling and attending his sons many hockey games around the province. Vic also enjoyed and participated in stock car racing at Bridge County Raceway. He devoted his life to caring for his children and family and to doing kind things for anyone in need.
Relatives and friends are invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, March 24, 2008 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Vic’s name may be made directly to the Canadian Liver Foundation, 1324B Centre Street North, Calgary, Alberta T2E 2R7.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the nurses and doctors at the Taber Hospital and the Chinook Regional Hospital for all of their time and care.
