MARY ELLEN PAULETTE

1946 - 2008

Mary Ellen Paulette, beloved wife of Gary Paulette of Barnwell passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the age of 61 years.
Mary Ellen was born to parents Nick and Mary Malinsky on October 28, 1946 at Taber, Alberta where she was raised and received her schooling. She married Gary Paulette on September 22, 1962 and later moved to Barnwell where they raised their five children. Mary Ellen owned her own upholstery business in Barnwell and spent countless hours working on her crafts. Her most precious gift was her family and the love she had for them. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren in their various sporting activities. Her dog, Sam, was also very special to her. With overwhelming strength and courage she faced her illness and fought to the end. Mary Ellen will be sadly missed by her family.
She is survived by her husband Gary; mother Mary Malinsky; children Dean (Tracey) Paulette, Tracy Paulette, Pam (Scott) Caunter and Cody Paulette; grandchildren Danny (Meranda) Witwer, Billie-Anne Paulette, Beccie Fletcher, Josh Paulette, Dylan Paulette, Joel Fletcher, Tanner Paulette and Spencer Karl; sisters Carolyn Jensen and Gwen (Gordon) Vayro and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her in-laws Joe (Buster) Brown, Robert Paulette, Gwen (Gary) Kerkhoff and Bruce (Jillian) Cavelle. Mary Ellen was predeceased by her son Danny Paulette, father Nick Malinsky, brother-in-law Clare Jensen and sisters-in-law Pauline Currie and Erleen Paulette.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at Knox United Church, 4929 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Frank Lewis officiating. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
