1919 – 2008

Elizabeth Peta of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the age of 89 years.
Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law Julianna and Blake Thomas, and a granddaughter Shannon Thomas, all of Calgary.
She was predeceased by her husband Stephen and son Leslie Bakos.
Born in Hungary October 24, 1919, Elizabeth immigrated to Canada as a young girl and resided in Taber for many years before moving to Calgary in 1953.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 9:00 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
