PETER BARTON

1955 - 2005

Peter Kent Barton of Calgary passed away on Monday, February 7, 2005, after a lengthy illness, at the age of 49 years.
Peter was born on May 28, 1955 in Edmonton and moved to Calgary with his parents as a child. He graduated from James Fowler High School where he also received awards in Automotive Mechanics. He went on to choose a career in Natural Resources, first in Forestry, then in the Petroleum Industry.
Peter is survived by his son Grayson Barton, daughter Kendra Barton, and their mother Angie Barton, all of Calgary; and his father Jack Barton. He is also survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Sonya of Huxley, Patrick of Okotoks and Joyce of Australia; two sisters, Gloria Jean Barton and Kelly Barton, both of Calgary; special friend Carolyn Wagner of Calgary; and several nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his mother Vera in 2004 and nephew Travis in 1998.
Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway's Eastside Memorial Chapel, 5388 Memorial Drive N.E., Calgary on Friday, February 11, 2005 at 2:30 P.M. A Graveside Service will be held at the Taber Memorial Garden, Taber.
