1929 - 2008

Jeffrey Owen (Burke) passed away in Taber on Monday, May 19, 2008 at the age of 79 years.
Jeff is survived by his surrogate family, Jack Schmidt of Taber; Jack’s children Gary (Danielle) Schmidt of Medicine Hat, Brad (Florrette) Schmidt of Purple Springs, Karen (Zoni) Kover of Taber, Bonna (Alphonse) LaBrecque of Bonnyville, Jim (Joanna) Schmidt of Calgary and Brenda (Reg) Jensen of Okotoks.
He was predeceased by his parents Eva and Earl Owen.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. and prior to the service in the Relief Society Room of the Church from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. with Bishop Frank Walton conducting. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
