LENA NELIS

1924 - 2004

Mrs. Helena (Lena) Johane Nelis, beloved wife of Mr. Harry Nelis of Hays, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 15, 2004 at the age of 79 years.
Lena is survived by her loving husband Harry and her children Mary-Lou (Miles) Massing and their children Jill (Dallas) Massing McDougall, Mark and Craig; Jacques (Lis) and their children Thomas, Anita and Brian; Jules; Linda (Richard) Huvenaars and their children Carl and Christina; Dominique (Michael) Hirsch, as well as her sisters Rosa Van Zande of Belgium, Philomena (Noel) Flamez, Anna Munk and Angele Vincent all of Quebec; brothers Henri (Beatrice) of Manitoba and Leon (Liliane) of Quebec and numerous nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her parents Jan and Aldegonda Swennen, sister Mia Jacobs and four brothers Michel, Louis, Theo and Jaak Swennen.
Relatives and friends are invited for Prayers at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 324-2 Ave., North, Vauxhall on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 7:30 P.M.  
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Vauxhall on Thursday, August 19 at 10:30 A.M. with Father Myles Gaffney celebrant.  Interment to follow in the Hays Cemetery.
