EVA NICHOLAS

1916 - 2009

Eva Katherine Nicholas (nee Schlachter) of Bow Island, beloved wife of the late Robert Nicholas, passed away in Bow Island on Friday, August 7, 2009 at the age of 93 years.
She leaves to cherish her memory four children, Ronald (Mary) Nicholas of Comox, British Columbia; Roberta (John) Parnell of Cranbrook, British Columbia; Karen (Dave) Smith of Bow Island; Wayne (Susan) Nicholas of Campbell River, British Columbia; sixteen grandchildren and twenty nine great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband Robert December 26, 1973, daughter Arlene, son Donald, a granddaughter Jacqueline and a great grandson David.
Eva was born on May 26, 1916 to Anton & Margaret Schlachter. She married Robert Nicholas on October 5, 1936.
Relatives and friends are invited to prayers at St. Micheal’s Catholic Church, 1113 - 1 Street East, Bow Island on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 1113 - 1 Street East, Bow Island, on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Fred Monk Celebrant. Burial to follow at the Bow Island Cemetery.
