After a long battle with cancer at the age of 57 years, Mr. Harold Milton Meahan of Taber, beloved husband of Mrs. Linda Meahan, passed away at the Taber Hospital on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 on their second wedding anniversary.
Milton was born on February 1, 1947 in Calgary where he attended King Edward Elementary and Ernest Manning High School. Milton loved camping, traveling, fishing, baseball and watching wrestling, which he would later discuss in depth with his nephew Monty. For many years he was a member of the Citizen Band Club, his handle being Bull Weavel. Milton was accomplished in any endeavor he put his mind to and will be remembered as a jokester who loved to make people laugh. His love of animals extended to his two cats and his birds. He was especially fond of his dog Sheba who died many years previous.
