ANNE MOLNAR
1941 - 2005
Mrs. Anne Gibb Molnar, beloved wife of Mr. Alex Molnar of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Health Centre in Lethbridge, on Friday, September 30, 2005 at the age of 64 years.
Anne was born in Edinburgh, Scotland on February 1, 1941, the daughter of James and Betty Richardson. She received her schooling in Scotland and later attended the University of Edinburgh. Anne taught in Scotland at Bathgate Academy and came to Canada in 1969 on a teachers exchange to L.C.I. where she taught for two years. She married Alex Molnar in 1970 and they resided on the family farm in the Barnwell area. Anne was a teacher's aide in the Taber School Division for 26 years, retiring this past June. Alex and Anne have resided in Lethbridge since March, 1999.
Besides her loving husband Alex, she will be sadly missed by her mother Betty Richardson of Edinburgh, Scotland, two sons Louis (Sharon) Molnar of Lethbridge and James (Jennifer) Molnar of Barnwell and their son Kyle who was very special to Anne; her sister Elizabeth (Tom) Drysdale of Edinburgh and also by three nephews, Fraser, Richard and Peter Morrison all of Edinburgh. She was predeceased by her father James Richardson, brother-in-law Louis Molnar and sister-in-law Helen Panczak.
A Prayer Service will be held at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006-48 Ave., Taber on Tuesday, October 4 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at Knox United Church, 4929-50 Ave., Taber on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Jim Lochhead officiating.
