CHERI DEE MURPHY

1944 - 2008

Cheri Dee Murphy (nee Wiest) beloved wife of Jim Murphy of Lethbridge, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at the age of 64 years.
Besides her loving husband Jim, she is survived by her children Darren (Leanna) Murphy of Lethbridge, Paige Babe (Mark Bogusky) of Edmonton and Scott Murphy of Lethbridge; grandchildren Dylan, Demi, Braede, Payton, Taeryn and Janelle. Cheri is also survived by her sister Cinda (Richard) Sander of Enchant and their children Wade (Cara) Sander of Lethbridge and Kristen (Jeff) Stone of Enchant.
She was predeceased by her parents George and Jessie Wiest.
Cheri was born at Lethbridge on May 21, 1944 to George and Jessie Wiest. She was raised and educated in Lethbridge, graduating from L.C.I. She married Jim Murphy on October 10, 1964. Cheri and Jim have resided in Lethbridge since 1981. For the past twenty six years Cheri has been employed with the City of Lethbridge. Cheri was instrumental in the founding of Murphy’s Taekwon-Do school.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Martha’s Catholic Church, 355 Columbia Boulevard West, Lethbridge on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at 11:00 A.M.
