BARRY MICHELSON

1952 - 2009

Barry Glen Michelson, beloved husband of Laurie Michelson, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital after a short battle with cancer on Sunday, August 2, 2009 at the age of 57 years.
Barry is survived by his wife Laurie; daughters Jill (Shane) Campbell of Taber and Heather (Sam) Gazes of San Ramon, California; grandchildren Shayla, Hayley, Alyssa, Brooklyn, Elias and Lexi. He is also survived by his parents Glen and Betty Jo Michelson of Lethbridge; mother-in-law Lorene McCready; sisters and brothers-in-law Brenda & Jim Clark (special friend) and family, Gayle & Murray Ridgway.
He was predeceased by his father-in-law Tom McCready.
Barry spent his last few months battling cancer but still lived each day to the fullest. His last few weeks were spent doing the things he loved - camping, boating and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his contagious sense of humour, stories and never ending jokes.
Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family prior to the service in the Relief Society Room of the Church from 1:00 P.M. to 1:40 P.M.
The Funeral Service will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Taber Stake Centre, 4709 - 50 Avenue, Taber on Friday, August 7, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Bishop Ken Holst conducting.
