JOHN LEMISKO Sr.

1926 - 2006

John Lemisko Sr., beloved husband of the late Katie Lemisko, of Taber, passed away at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary on Sunday, January 8, 2006 at the age of 79 years.
John was born in the Ukraine on January 21, 1926. He came to Canada in 1948 and married Katie in 1949. Together they made their home in Taber where they raised their family. Katie passed away November 13, 1994 and John continued to reside in Taber until his passing.
John is survived by his son William (Lynn), his daughter Mary (Ed) St. Laurent and their children Greg and Neil (Corinne), his son John Jr. and John Jr.'s children Chancellor and Davis, his son Steve (Kathy) and their son Ronald, his daughter Eva (Rej) Laurion and their children Cameron and Cassandra, his son Jim and Jim's daughter Jamie and also by his great grandchildren Jessica and Noelani.
He was predeceased by his wife Katie and by his granddaughter Stacey.
Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, January 13, 2006 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Saturday, January 14, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS, Celebrant. Interment to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
