TOM KERRISON
1925 - 2005
Mr. Tom Kerrison, beloved husband of Mrs. Mary Kerrison of Taber, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2005 at the age of 80 years.
Tom was born on May 4, 1925 in Eyremoore, Alberta to Caroline and Thomas Kerrison. He spent his youth with his family in Drumheller, Picture Butte and Lethbridge where he completed his education. After marrying Mary Murphy of Taber, they moved to Nelson, B.C. where they raised their family. After working several years for the C.P.R., Tom drove heavy trucks throughout southern B.C. In 1987, they retired to Taber.
Besides his loving wife Mary, Tom is survived by his daughters Georgia (Ron) Almack of Westbank, B.C., and Darlene (Art) Williams of Taber, his grandchildren Tom Williams of Creston, B.C., Craig Almack of Westbank, B.C., Angela Williams of Taber, Cheryl Williams of Taber, Corry Moline or Taber, Kyla Williams of Mission B.C., and Jesse Williams of Taber, and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters, Lorraine Ralph of Calgary, Ethel Stracke of Calgary, one brother Jack (Fay) Kerrison of Granum and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, one brother, Jim and two sisters, Lillian and Val.
The Funeral Service will be held at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, November 18, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Arij Langstraat officiating.
