Bonnie Carlson

1961 - 2025

Bonnie Tess Carlson, passed away in Taber on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the age of 63 years.

A private funeral service will be held at Southland Funeral Chapel, Taber. Burial to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.

Bonnie is survived by her brothers Dexter Buckley of Taber, Don (Cindy) Carlson of Taber, Tim (Susan) Carlson of Taber and Casey (Donna) Carlson of Lethbridge.

She was predeceased by her parents Harry and Helen Carlson; brothers Lyle Buckley and Dennis Carlson; sister Twila Wiebe and special friend Charles “Chuck” Beauchamp.

Bonnie was born in Taber on June 5, 1961 to Harry and Helen Carlson, and joined a large, blended family of eight children. Home was the small hamlet of Travers, between Vulcan and Enchant, until they moved to Taber in 1967. She attended school and spent the remainder of her life in Taber. Bonnie was employed mainly in the food industry. She never drove, but her feet carried her many miles. Despite her many challenges, Bonnie had an underlying sweet spirit. She was kind and generous, loved a good bargain and above all loved her family and friends. Her physical health declined in the last few years, and she passed away quietly on February 12.
