Ruth is survived by her sons Doug (Cheryl) Domolewski of Taber and Russ (Tammy) Domolewski of Pincher Creek; grandchildren Steve (Marina) Domolewski, Matt (Tamra) Domolewski, Stacey Domolewski (Neil Christie) and Becky (Chad) Lorenz; great grandchildren Jack, Reata and Dally Domolewski and Kesler Lorenz. She is also survived by her brother Glen Andrus, sisters-in-law Rita Andrus, Betty Andrus, Lavon Andrus and by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Henry Domolewski; son Donald Angus Domolewski; parents Marcus and Lisle Andrus; brothers Earl, Cliff, Gordon, Les and Harold Andrus; sisters Kathleen Williamson, Lilian Luehr, Evelyn Noer and Hazel Langkopf.

Ruth was born in Armada, Alberta on August 2, 1934, the sixth of eleven children and attended school in Lomond. Ruth, along with her sister Kathleen owned and operated a restaurant in Lomond before Ruth married Hank, the love of her life, in 1960.

Ruth was known for her knitting for friends and family alike, being clothed in sweaters and blankets made with love. Ruth was a mother in the truest sense of the word, her coffee pot was always on and there could always be a meal found and a spot available at her kitchen table. Her list of biological children is short but the list of those she claimed as children and grandchildren is too numerous to mention.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Ruth’s name may be made directly to the Make a Wish Foundation of Canada (Southern Alberta Chapter) Suite 4, 2308 - 24 Street SW, Calgary, Alberta T2T 5H8 www.makeawish.ca.
