Judy Brezovski Lamond

1953 - 2024

Judith Lorraine Brezovski Lamond, beloved wife of Jerry Lamond, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Palliative Care on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the age of 70 years.

The committal service was held at the Taber Memorial Garden, 7600 - 50 Street, Taber on Tuesday, July 16 at 1:30 P.M.

Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family to celebrate Judy’s life at the Royal Canadian Legion, 5205 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 between 2:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M.

Judy lovingly leaves behind her husband of thirty nine years, Jerry; mother Margaret Racz (nee Brezovski); sisters Connie Engwer and Sheila (Ken) Johnson; brother Bill (Shari) Brezovski; stepsons Chris (Marnie) Lamond and Scott (Kama) Lamond and her very loved grandsons Jayden and Hudson as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father Tony Brezovski and brother-in-law Norm Engwer.

Judy held a special place in her heart for friends. She kept a journal of all the visits, gifts, notes and flowers she received in her final days in the hospital. Those gifts and visits were very precious to her. Judy worked for Bayer Crop Science for over twenty years. She definitely made an impression with the amount of visits and flowers she received from so many of her co-workers. Country music and camping were Judy’s favorite things. There was never a day the radio wasn’t on. Judy and Jerry also took several trips to Nashville to listen to their favorite singers and take in country music culture. Their home is full of framed photos and picture albums that depict years of adventures in Nashville, camping with friends, and joining in on the hunt.

Many hearts broke and tears fell on June 26. Judy’s love will live within all the ones she held dear. We will hear her voice and feel her love in times we need her, guiding us from above.

If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Judy’s name may be made directly to the Jack Ady Cancer Centre, 960 – 19 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 1W5.
