Sharon Bailey

1946 - 2023

Sharon Faye Bailey, beloved wife of the late Bill Bailey, passed away in Taber on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the age of 77 years.

A celebration of life will be held in early 2024 where Sharon and Bill will be laid to rest together.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Darla Bailey of Medicine Hat; grandchildren Tyson (Katie), Dylan (Lizzy), Steffanie, Kalesta and Madyson; great grandchildren Mercedes, Jayla, Kash, Nova, Paisley, and a baby girl and baby boy that she will not get to meet. She is also survived by her brother Jack Dunsmore; sisters Lynda Dunsmore and Darlene (Glen) Birney; sisters-in-law Trudy (Monty) Whitmore and June Bailey as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Bill; son Robbie; parents Sandy and Jessie Dunsmore; in-laws Marj and Bill Bailey; brother-in-law Tom Bailey as well as several other close family members.

Sharon was born in Brooks on June 29, 1946 and raised in the Scandia/Vauxhall area where she received most of her education. She married Bill on October 1, 1966 in Vauxhall where they resided for the majority of their lives. In November of 2002, they moved to Taber where she has resided until the time of her passing. Sharon had a few different jobs over the years, but being a mom and her husbands bookkeeper were important to her. Being a grandma was her most favorite thing. She enjoyed doing crosswords and playing hand held games. Sharon will be greatly missed by all her family and will be in our hearts forever.
