Aganetha Bergen

1971 - 2023

Aganetha Bergen, passed away in Taber on Friday, July 14, 2023 at the age of 51 years. 

Those who chose to pay their respects did so at the church prior to the funeral service on Sunday, July 23, 2023 between 1:00 P.M. and 1:45 P.M.

The Funeral Service was held at the Mennonite Gospel Church, 915 - 1 Avenue, Vauxhall on Sunday, July 23, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden. 

Aganetha leaves behind her children Rosanna Loewen, Irwin, Travis, Amos, Naomi and was the loved grandmother of Mark and Lily. She is missed by her parents Peter and Maria Fehr and by her siblings Frank, Klaas, Peter, Johann, David, Maria, Anna, Zara, and Daniel. She is also mourned by her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son Nathan and sister Tina.

Aganetha was born on August 30, 1971 in Blue Creek, Orange Walk District, Belize, to parents Peter and Maria Fehr. She loved her family and her greatest joy was spending time with her children. She protected her loved ones fiercely. A dedicated Christian, Aganetha found peace in the knowledge that she would one day get to be with her Lord. She spent time knitting, crocheting, sewing and playing cards, and always took time to visit and show interest in the lives of others. She will be remembered for her welcoming and nurturing spirit, her ability to find joy and humour in hard situations and the love she had for her family and those close to her.
