Tory Valgardson

1923 - 2023

Victoria Valgardson (nee Ziebart), beloved wife of the late Howard Valgardson, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the age of 99 years.

Tory will be remembered privately by her family.

She is survived by her sons Charles (Teri) Valgardson and Bradley (Sandra) Valgardson all of Taber, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Tory is also survived by her little sister Lorraine (Gordon) Lane, one of her ten siblings who she treasured throughout their lives. She leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who were extremely special to her.

Tory was born in Fox Valley, Saskatchewan to Mike and Matilda Ziebart. Farming opportunities brought them to Taber where Tory met Howard and they began life on the farm. Many of us enjoyed happy times at the farm, always involving good company, good food and lots of music. Tory loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. Oh how we’ll miss Grandma Tory’s chocolate cake.
