Aloisia, fondly known as Loisie, was born in Sokolovac, Croatia on February 22, 1920. She immigrated to Canada with her son Tony aboard the Beaverbrae ship after World War II in 1950. Here she met and married her love, Nick Miros. Loisie was a kind and generous soul. She was always ready to help a friend or family member in need. She took great pride and joy in her family, her home and her gardens. She loved to share all that she harvested. Cooking for loved ones was another joy. Her plum dumplings were a family favorite. Loisie’s family always looked forward to their visits to Taber to spend time with her. These visits created many special memories that will forever be treasured.
If friends so desire in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you choose to engage in a random act of kindness to celebrate Loisie’s memory.
Loisie’s family would like to thank her extended family - the Clearview Lodge staff, for all their love and care over the more than 19 years she resided with them. They are so very grateful. Also, a special thank you to Jolane Sekura, you were always there for her and she loved you dearly.
