Gene Volk

1935 - 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of Eugene John Volk, announce the passing of their dear dad, papa, great papa and uncle, who passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the age of 87 years.

The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.

Gene is now in heaven with his sweetheart and loving wife Victoria. He was full of life and he always had the best stories. He had an incredible heart and a gentle spirit. He was one of the kindest men you could ever meet. He would give you the shirt off his back and his generosity was limitless. Gene was a smart man and he worked hard for everything he had. His family and friends will miss him dearly.

The family would like to offer their heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge for the excellent care given to Gene in the final days of his life.
