Sylvia Rombough

1941 - 2022

Sylvia Rombough, beloved wife of Wally Rombough, passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the age of 80 years.

Relatives and friends were invited to meet with the family at Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, June 16, 2022 between 3:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M.

The Funeral Service in celebration of Sylvia’s life was held at the Enchant Community Hall, 121 Center Street, Enchant on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. Burial followed at the Enchant Cemetery.

Besides her loving husband Wally, she is survived by her daughter Kari (Ken) Braun of Raymond; grandchildren Steffanie Rombough (her children Jayla and Mercedes), Branden Martin, Cassidy (Brady) Peters (their children Jayce, Damien, Colson, Brantley and Aurora).

She was predeceased by her son Brian Rombough, parents Rasmus and Rakel Hobberstad, sisters Olaug (Bill) Palmer and Olivia (Cecil) Wiest, brother Hans (Marion) Hobberstad.

Sylvia will be lovingly remembered by those who knew her best as a gentle soul and having a heart of gold. Her most precious times were walking, reading and time spent with her grandchildren.
