Reg Dubé
1926 - 2022
On Sunday, June 5, 2022, Reginald Victor Dubé at the age of 96 years, went to heaven to be with his Saviour. His family can imagine this was their father’s best Sunday ever.
A service was held at the old gazebo in Confederation Park, Taber on Friday, July 29, 2022 at 4:00 P.M.
Reginald will lovingly be remembered by his son David (Michelle) Dubé of Taber; daughters Janet (Christoper) Michaylow of Regina, Shelley (Ed) Frederick of Estevan, Rita (Ken) Fahlman of Olds and Kathy (Joel) Stalwick of Red Deer; grandchildren Sloane, India, Maddox, Farrah, Jaida, Andrew, Kala, Scott, Jordan, Sara, Elena, Conner, Liam and Gavin.
Reginald Victor Dubé was born in Bahrpur, India, to Charles and Janet Dubé on April 2, 1926. In 1968, Reginald immigrated to Canada and continued his work as a diesel injection specialist. In 1975, he found love in Regina, Saskatchewan, and was married to Lauraine and adopted her three daughters. Their life continued in Estevan, Saskatchewan, where David and Janet were born.
Reginald loved the outdoors and was often found walking about Taber. He always respected nature; this quote was found tucked away in one of his bibles… “Nature is always lovely, invincible, glad, whatever is done and suffered by her creatures. All scars she heals, whether in rocks, or water, or sky or hearts.” ~ John Muir
Reginald faithfully studied scripture, prayed for those known to him and always offered words of encouragement.
“Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You and praise Your name for in perfect faithfulness, You have done wonderful things, planned long ago….” Isaiah 25:1
