1953 - 2021
Robert Allan McCoy, beloved husband of Darlene McCoy, passed away in Taber on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the age of 68 years.
The funeral service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, Taber on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 1:00 P.M.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Darlene; children Jennifer Pittman (Noel Hansen) and family of Brooks, Brett (Heather) McCoy of Taber and Megan McCoy (Richard Charlton) of Lethbridge. He is also survived by his sister Debbie (Stan) Kurek and family, brother-in-law Brian (Colleen) Leslie and family and sister-in-Law Carol (Bob) Henderson and family.
Bob was born in Killam on October 3, 1953 to Allan and Marie McCoy. His father worked for McLeods in Camrose and was transfered to Taber when Bob was quite young. The family liked to spend lots of time around Beaver Mines camping and fishing which is where Bob got his love of fishing. He was looking forward to spending a lot of time fishing in his retirement but was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer soon after retirement and didn't get to do it as much as he would have liked.
