ANGELINE BOLEN
1916 - 2006
Angeline Bolen beloved wife of the late Andrew Bolen, of Taber, passed away at the Taber Hospital on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at the age of 90 years.
She is survived by her children: Helen (Al) Zadnik of Taber, Verna (Butch) Clark of Lethbridge, Della (Neil) Goruk of Taber, Patty (Peter) Valgardson of Taber, Edward (Delores) Bolen of Taber, Harold Bolen of Taber, Leonard (Marie) Bolen of Vauxhall and Brian (Maureen) Bolen of Calgary; fifteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren as well as nine brothers and sisters and their families.
She was predeceased by her husband Andrew; parents Paul and Barbara, two sisters, one brother and granddaughter, Lynn.
Angeline was born July 4, 1916 in Rosefield, Saskatchewan. She married Andrew Bolen October 28, 1935. In April of 1953 they moved to Alberta and farmed in Hays. After Andrew’s passing in 1965 she remained at the farm until 1970 when she moved to Taber. In May 1994 she moved to the Clearview Lodge and in 2003 settled at the Extendicare where she has resided until her passing. Angeline loved to garden and enjoyed reading. One of her fondest memories was her trip to see the Pope John Paul II in Yellowknife.
Relatives and friends are invited for Prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at 7:30 P.M.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Friday, November 17, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant. Interment to follow at the Taber Memorial Garden.
