Theresa Bartz
1957 - 2021
Theresa Alice Lynn Bartz passed away in Taber on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the age of 64 years, after a brief battle with cancer.
As a result of the current circumstances regarding COVID-19, a celebration of Theresa’s life will be held when we can gather together safely.
Theresa is survived by her two children Amanda (Steve) Scott of Kelowna and Christopher (Brittany) Bartz of Kelowna; four grandchildren Payton, Paige, Brooklyn and Ryder. She is also survived by her brother Ed (Wanda) Campbell and sister Bonnie Campbell, many nephews and nieces, as well as her life-long friends Dawn Fogo and Holly Zaiser.
She was predeceased by her common-law partner Monty Reddekopp in 2009, father Mike Campbell in 2017, mother Sharon Campbell in 2004 and sister Ruth Campbell in 2003.
Born prematurely on January 21, 1957 in Calgary, Theresa was raised in Vauxhall and Taber but lived most of her life in Kelowna, British Columbia. She eventually moved back to Taber in 2013 to live with her sister Bonnie.
Mom worked tirelessly her whole life to provide opportunities for her children. She always provided care and support for her family. Mom's greatest love in her life was her children and grandchildren. She was always so proud of them and loved sharing humorous stories and pictures of them. Payton and Paige would often fight over who got to speak with grandma first when she called. Brooklyn and Ryder were always so excited to share a treat with grandma when she visited, whether it was an ice cream or a milkshake, they were just happy to see their grandma.
Mom taught us that family is the most important thing and to love and cherish each other. We all loved her very much and will miss her dearly.
