HAROLD BARLOW

1930 - 2007

Harold Lloyd Barlow, beloved husband of the late Lila Barlow, passed away in Olds on Friday, February 16, 2007 at the age of 76 years.
Harold was born on August 5, 1930 in Saskatchewan to parents Ralph and Evelyn Barlow. He was raised there until he joined the Armed Forces.  He was stationed out of Penhold, Alberta where he met the love of his life Lila Dorothy Tucker.  After they were married they resided in Penhold for four years before moving to Beaverlodge for a year and finally to Calgary. In November of 1971 they moved to Vauxhall where they opened the Barlow Family Restaurant. While in Vauxhall he was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.  Lila passed away on March 2, 1990 after which Harold moved to Olds where he resided until the time of his passing.
Harold is survived by his daughter Sharon Barlow and her children Brandy, Gaylin and Tiffany all of Olds and by his remaining siblings and their families.
The Funeral Service will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 324 - 2 Avenue North, Vauxhall on Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS officiating. Interment will follow in the Vauxhall Cemetery.
