Tanya Burton

1964 - 2021

It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Tanya Denise Burton on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the age of 57 years.

Tanya will be greatly missed by her father Gerry (Réjeanne) Burton of Kapuskasing, Ontario; mother Violette Mussely (Frank Krasovec) of Val Rita, Ontario. She will also be missed by her stepsisters Suzanne S. (Gérald) Proulx of Hearst, Ontario and Karen Sabovitch of Southgate, Ontario; brother-in-law Alfred Turmel of Kapuskasing, Ontario as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was predeceased by her sister Lyana Burton-Turmel.

Tanya was an outgoing people person who gave so much to this world. She enjoyed helping others and always had a kind word to say. Tanya loved all animals and always had a cat by her side. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking and colouring.

A service was held in Kapuskasing, Ontario.
