JOHN HESSELS

1923 - 2006

Johannes Antonius Hessels beloved husband of Nellie Hessels of Taber, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at the age of 83 years.
Besides his loving wife Nellie, John is survived by his son Adrian (Bev) Hessels of Sarnia, Ontario, his daughters Liz Friesen of Calgary and Josie (Eric Torstensen) Hessels of Kelowna, British Columbia and by six grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers Hank Hessels of Vancouver, British Columbia, Joe Hessels of Quesnel, British Columbia and by his other siblings and numerous nieces and nephews in Holland.
Relatives and friends were invited to prayers at the Southland Funeral Chapel, 5006 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Sunday, October 29, 2006 at 7:00 P.M.
The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber on Monday, October 30, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Mariusz Sztuk SDS Celebrant. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.

John’s family would like to thank Taber Emergency Services, the staff at the Taber Hospital and also Dr. Beckie for their care and support during this difficult time.
