1932 - 2020
Leo A. Bernard at the age of 88 years and one week, passed away peacefully at his favourite spot the trailer, with his beloved wife of sixty three years, Carole by his side on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.
Besides his loving wife Carole, left to cherish his memory are his daughters Susan (Rob) Northmore of Kingston, Ontario, Frances Wubben (Brian Roche) of Kingston, Ontario and Jo-ann (Ian) Mc Taggart of Medicine Hat; son Leo (Carolann) Bernard of Kingston, Ontario; grandchildren Paul Wubben (Cassie Haylor), David Wubben (Deanna Macdonald), Elizabeth Bernard (Nick Maschi), Amanda Boutilier (Sean Bowen), Craig and Carey Roche; special granddaughter Molly Martinson; great grandchildren Ruby and Edith Bowen, Hugo "Gator" Bernard. He is also survived by his sister Linda Serafin and brother Albert Bernard; many nieces and nephews; grand pets Tessa, Momma and Three.
He was predeceased by son Charlie and grandson Joseph.
Leo served with the Canadian Armed Forces for thirty five years and retired as the Command Chief Warrant Officer of the Military Special Investigation Unit. Serving with the C Pro C, Military Police and SIU.
Leo will be privately remembered by his family.
