At a young age, he enlisted with the Canadian Armed Forces where he became and worked as a chef and travelled worldwide with his family for many years. In 1979 he moved to Taber and then worked as an equipment mechanic for several years until his retirement. Larry loved spending time with his family and was always good for a chuckle. Anyone who knew him was fortunate to share laughs and good times and quickly realized he never complained or had a negative thought about anyone or anything. He will be deeply missed. Larry’s last journey was a struggle that he fought very hard and with great dignity.
