Shane Bigelow

1967 - 2020

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our brother Shane Donald Bigelow in Morinville on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at the age of 53 years.

As a result of the restrictions regarding COVID-19, and the government’s recommendations, a private service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 10, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.

Shane is survived by his sisters Judy (Jim) Sweeney of Redcliff and Brenda (Nick) Kutanzi of Taber, brother Audie (Cindy) Bigelow Edmonton; nieces and nephews Jason (Sonya) Sweeney, Deanna Sweeney, Shila (Scott) Sowell, Trisha (Shand) Watson, Danny (Kaydee) Bigelow, Scott Bigelow and Chelsey (Kevin) Wright as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Cyril and Rachel Bigelow, brother Barry Bigelow, grandparents Murrell and Daisy Bigelow as well as Kristoff and Margaret Genert. He was also predeceased by his furry and faithful companions, Echo and Brigg.
