Margaret Pardoski
1936 - 2020
Margaret Rose Pardoski, beloved wife of Edmund Pardoski, passed away in Taber on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at the age of 83 years. Mom was a strong fighter right to the end, but she finally gave in after her courageous battle with cancer.
As a result of the restrictions regarding COVID-19, and the government’s recommendations, a private Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church, 5009 - 48 Avenue, Taber. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.
Margaret is survived by her husband Edmund; son Ryan (Julie) Pardoski of Rochester Hills, Michigan and their children Jordin and Jared; daughter Shawna (Harley) Phillips of Taber and their children Tyson, Spencer and Cassidy; brother Alec Jozsa as well as several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
She was predeceased by her parents Alexander and Mary Jozsa; sisters Jillian Roth, Erma MacDonald, Irene Runge and Jean Haugen; her mother and father-in-law Joe and Wanda Pardoski.
Margaret was born in Lethbridge on September 14, 1936 and raised on the family farm in Wrentham. She became a nurse and worked at several different hospitals throughout western Canada. Margaret ended up in Calgary where she met the love of her life Edmund Pardoski during the Calgary Stampede. They married and together they raised their family in Calgary. Margaret and Edmund retired to Taber where they have resided until the time of her passing. She loved gardening and her flowers. She was a avid sports fan, taking in many of her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. Margaret was a very special aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She cherished each of her five grandchildren, spending much of her time with them.
