Margaret Horvath

1919 - 2020

Margaret Horvath, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away peacefully in Taber on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the age of 100 years. Over these 100 years, we have accumulated many great memories of our beloved Margaret.

A private funeral service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel on Monday, February 3, 2020. Burial followed at the Taber Memorial Garden.

She is survived by her son Jim Horvath (Mary Kaytor) and son-in-law Steve Csabay (Colene Bennett) all of Taber; five grandchildren Lorraine (Allen) Megella, Tony (Nancy) Csabay, Richard Horvath, Andy Csabay and Shirley (Lee) Pennycook; six great grandchildren Jedd, Hannah and Hallie Horvath, Kate Csabay and Cole and Evan Pennycook. She is also survived by her sister Judy Horvath, several nieces and nephews as well as special friends Rhonda Horvath and Joan Oswald.

She was predeceased by her husband James Horvath; daughter Margaret Csabay; daughter-in-law Theresa Horvath; parents Andrew and Margaret Boda; sisters Rose Zsombor and Pearl Birch; brothers-in-law Joe Zsombor, Tony Birch and Jim Horvath.
